Breathwork, Mindfulness, & Meditation Retreat

Sep 18 - 21, 2025

4 days, 3 nights in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, CA

Join our boutique retreat to rest and revitalize love, joy, and awe.

Begin and end each day bathed in the golden light of the Sierra Nevada mountains—with soul-nourishing yoga, breathwork, mindfulness, and creative expression. This is your invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and come home to yourself.

Let nature be your guide as you "come back" to balance. Through mindful, heart-opening experiences woven into the rhythms of Mother Earth, you’ll gently reset emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

Wander through wildflower-filled meadows. Flow like the nearby creek—free, unhurried. Hike among ancient Sequoias, marvel at the stars overhead, and rekindle your sense of awe. In community and solitude, you’ll remember what it feels like to truly belong—to yourself and the world around you.

While we’ll explore advanced yogic teachings—philosophy, subtle breath techniques, and tools rarely found in studio classes—this retreat is not about performance. It’s about presence. All levels of yoga and meditation experience are welcome here, always.

Everything we offer is an invitation, not an expectation. You’re free to participate at your own pace and listen to your own inner rhythm. This is your time to rest, reconnect, and rise.

Meet your host

Megan McCarver, M.A., C-IAYT, E-RYT500, IYA

Step away from the noise and into a space of deep restoration with Meg. With over 30 years of experience as a yoga therapist, educator, and guide, Megan creates retreats that are more than just a getaway—they’re an invitation to reconnect with your body, breath, and inner clarity.

Rooted in therapeutic yoga, ancient wisdom traditions, and mindfulness, Megan’s retreats are designed to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, burnout, or simply seeking renewal, her compassionate, grounded presence offers a safe space for transformation.

You’ll move gently, breathe deeply, and leave with tools you can carry into everyday life. This is a retreat for those who long to slow down, go inward, and return home to themselves—with the guidance of someone who has walked this path for decades.

  • Delicious food, very comfortable beds, calming yoga, life changing hour long pranayama teachings, and practices like walks in the lavender maze, the agni practice, reiki, ayuvedic massage, and art, all made this retreat led by Megan perfection. The hiking through the blooming and humming spring meadows with the snow clad distant Sierra Nevada Mountains, plus a walk to a neighboring goat farm across a stream gushing with snow melt, showcased nature at its best with the goat cheese available for purchase being the cherry on the top. Thank you to Megan for leading/organizing and Deepak for creating your beautiful retreat venue for us all to experience!
